Class of 2026 Senior Newsletter
Dear Seniors & Parents/Guardians: The end of the year and Graduation is approaching! This newsletter has a number of important details and dates. We all look forward to this special time of year for our graduates and
encourage you to work with the school to ensure that all details are in order. Please do not hesitate to contact the school with any questions or concerns that may arise. We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026!
School Obligations Checklist
All obligations must be met by Thursday, June 4
- RETURN: all textbooks, library books, athletic gear, Chromebooks, & debts owed. Check the 'Senior Debt List' in theMainOffice in May to find out what you owe!
- GRADUATION REHEARSALS: are MANDATORY! You must attend both rehearsals.
- SCHOOL RECORDS: At the end of the 2nd rehearsal you must sign-off & pick-up your school records.
Once the above obligations are met, seniors will receive their caps & gowns.
- RETURN YOUR GOWN: You MUST return your graduation gown after the ceremony. These are rentals and must be returned to the company promptly. You may keep your caps,tassels, and regalia.
Graduation Ceremony Information
Saturday, June 6, 6PM | MRHS Turf Field
If there is rain, the ceremony will be moved inside. There is NO RAIN DATE.
- TIME: Seniors should arrive at MRHS by 5:30pm and must be lined up by 5:45pm in the order they will walk in. The ceremony begins promptly at 6pm.
- LOCATION: Our Graduation Ceremony will take place on the MRHS Turf Field. A large screen will be set up on the turf to display video footage of the ceremony to aid in the visibility of the night's events. For those who can not attend the live ceremony, there will be a live stream of the ceremony on YouTube. A link will be shared before the event begins.
- GENERAL ADMISSION: There are no admission tickets to the ceremony. All are welcome!
- SEATING: There will be general seating on a first-come,first-served basis. General seating will begin at 5pm. You may not reserve seats.
- FORMALWEAR: Seniors should dress formally under their gowns. Dress to impress! Seniors have permission to decorate their caps, and they must make sure that all content is tasteful and appropriate.
- INCLEMENT WEATHER: In case of inclement weather the ceremony will move indoors. There is no rain date.

Monday, May 18, to Friday, May 22
Senior Spirit Week, Hosted by MRHS Class of 2026.
Thursday, May 21
Seniors Last Day of Scheduled Classes. This is the last official day of scheduled classes for seniors. The last day of school for seniors is Friday, May 22 (Senior Beach Day), or they may attend school for make-up/review work as scheduled with teachers.
Friday, May 22
Senior Beach Day, 11am-2pm | Bank Street Beach
Tuesday, May 26, to Friday, May 29
Senior Final Exams, 8:45am-11:55am | Cafeteria. Final exam schedule is here.
Friday, May 29
FinFest - Spirit Club hosts the annual FinFest event, and seniors may attend during their designated time.
Wednesday, June 3
Graduation Rehearsal #1, 10:30am-12pm | MRHS
Mandatory rehearsal for all seniors. Seniors should report to the auditorium by 10:30am. Please be on time.
Thursday, June 4
Senior Breakfast, 10am | Cafeteria
Graduation Rehearsal #2, 10:30am-12pm | MRHS
Senior Convocation, 6:30pm MRHS Auditorium, Senior Convocation is an academic award and scholarship evening. Invitations to the event will be delivered to those seniors who will be receiving awards or scholarships at the
end of May. Seniors attending should arrive by 6pm & report to the cafeteria. Please RSVP to Mrs. Casey in Guidance.
Saturday, June 6
Graduation Ceremony, 6pm | MRHS Turf Field
Seniors are expected to arrive at MRHS by 5:30pm and should be lined up by 5:45pm. Keep an eye out for theme days and a schedule of events! Congratulations! You did it! Enjoy the night!
Buy A Brick for your Senior!

Are you looking for the perfect graduation gift for your senior? The Monomoy All Sports Booster Club is offering you the opportunity to purchase a brick with your student's name and Class of 2026 that will be installed around the concession area at the Monomoy Athletic Complex Turf.
The cost of the brick is $125.00 and can be paid via Venmo once you have placed your order. If you would like to place an order, please email boosterclub@monomoy.edu with your order. Each brick is 4x8, has two lines of print (students name, up to 21 characters) with Class of 2026 as the second line.
The deadline to place your order is Friday, May 1, 2026.
